Creative solutions for reducing stress-
include creative writing, relaxing activities, cooking, graphology and Health and fitness.
All creative skills are therapeutic and take care of one's anxieties and stress factors.
Some Stress Busters.-
In this modern world it is difficult if not impossible to change stressful situations. What we can do however is change and reduce our exposure to those stressful situations.
Nothing changes the situation that causes stress, but our personal managements come to our rescue always and helps us change our reaction and relationship to the stressful situations.
What is stress?
it is a situation when we get angry, start pitying ourselves, become revengeful, can’t sleep properly, find our appetite going down and many other related issues. Stress affects the performance of the brain, including functions of work performance; memory, concentration, and learning.

Then what do we do?
Laughter is the key. Humour is one of the greatest and quickest devices for reducing stress, as laughter produces helpful chemicals in the brain. It also distracts you from your anxieties and diffuses the tough feeling
Change your environment. Spend some time with nature, gardens, flowers, fresh breeze, studying some shrubs and perennials, breathe in some fresh air and smell the atmosphere...
Make your own cup of tea or a glass of lemonade, learn to cook some basic things. Cooking is a stress buster and I strongly advocate the same. Cooking and creating something that you and your family like takes your mind off your problems, and then smelling and drinking the tea also relaxes you.
Physical exercise also saves us from brooding and worrying. It is a known fact proven by scientific evidence that exercise releases some helpful chemicals in our brain that are good for us and helpful in handling stress. So, skipping a rope, some jumping jacks, some stretches and deep breathing is all that you need.
Maintain a journal. Write down your thoughts and ideas about a new venture. Write down what stresses you the most. Find ways to fight anxiety. Be your own counsellor . Analyze, reflect and reframe your thinking. Create a piece of fiction, jot down some lines , prose or poetry feel the kind of satisfaction it gives you .

Creative Writing
Writing is an outpouring of one's head and heart, it is an outlet that clears our thought process and allows us to see things in the right perspective. Many a times, not without reason do we say just pen your thoughts to get some clarity or for finding a solution for a vexing issue at home or at workplace.. Writing down our apprehensions and anxieties helps us for in doing so our minds get defogged and decluttered ; makes an inroad into our decision making skills.
what appears to be a Himalayan problem gets minimised, worries diminish,a nxieties face a melt down and we smile again .
Our writing skills are highly instrumental in our growth and development as our thinking gets enhanced , we explore our creative genius and feel empowered for we can write anything, stories, essays, travelogues and even poems .

Graphology
Have you noticed that our writing changes with every stage of our lives. Could there be a reason to it ?
Yes there is.
The brain sends waves through our writing, thereby depicting our state of mind and the curves and lines and hooks that appear on a piece of paper, is what we call hand-writing.
As one grows up, there are pressures that build up, disappointments come our way , we receive setbacks, we live through good times , challenging and tough times, we change, we experience emotional upheavals , we evolve, our responses and thinking changes ,our preferences, prejudices undergo a sea change with age and the brain maps it all and sends signals through her hands on paper ; the pattern of our writing changes .
Our handwriting is a big peek into our minds our emotions and the expert can exactly pinpoint as to what these changes are.

Health & Fitness
Physical fitness is the panacea for all modern day problems.No matter how busy a person is , no matter what the magnitude of problem is, till you don't maintain an exercise regimen, you can never enjoy good mind /body health and be at peace with yourself . Exercises enable the body to secrete happy hormones like endorphins that trigger a positive feeling in the body .reduce stress hormones and foster relaxation.

Creative Cooking
This once again is a creative craft that also suspends your stress and remember it's not gender specific. Both boys and girls require to cook, for it is a life skill . To assemble ingredients required for cooking or baking , one needs to have an awareness of how to create a balance in taste and how to garnish thereby making our items likeable , how to make an inviting menu and how to create and think of different recipes with different vegetables, herbs, condiments and spices. It is an exercise a culinary adventure that sharpens your culinary imagination and creativity .
